As February comes to a close, so does Black History Month, a time when we celebrate and honor the achievements and contributions of Black people throughout history. However, in my opinion, the end of this month should not mark the end of our commitment to amplifying Black voices and fighting against racism and discrimination.
Discovering non-toxic beauty products changed my life for the better! I get a lot of questions about my favorite brands, so I figured I’d round up my tried and true non-toxic beauty products for you to try!
When the holidays roll around, you know I don’t just opt for the obvious reds, greens, and over-the-top sparkle of it all. I respect and acknowledge the joy that comes with traditional Christmas vibes, but in my home, I like to do things differently.
As a busy mom, wife, and entrepreneur, I know that finding time to care for yourself can feel overwhelming, but here are a few ways that I’ve been able to practice my version of wellness on a daily without it feeling like another task on the laundry list of to-dos.

Let’s take the time to celebrate the accomplishments of those who came before us, but also have an open discussion about the work that still needs to be done.

Kind Words
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved doing hair, so much so I made it my career. Then I had babies and stayed home to raise my children. Once they became a little older and needed less of my attention I started to feel a pull to get back to a career but wasn’t sure going back to hairstyling would work with the kid’s schedules. Brandy guided me to explore my desires and what ‘filled my cup.’ This led me to completely changing directions and becoming a Certified Infant Specialist.
Thanks to Brandy I come home every day feeling fulfilled and still able to support my family!

As a former preschool teacher and dance teacher, my world revolves around teaching children in person and coaching them on their skills and technique. When the COVID19 pandemic hit, I was at a loss. I wasn’t sure when I would work again; and that’s when I met Brandy.
Brandy helped guide me toward a new way of thinking in the midst of the scariness. We put together a plan of action to have me teaching virtual classes, and when restrictions eased up, lessons in my home. I can’t thank her enough for helping me pivot and keeping my dream alive.

I’m a stay at home mama and blog creator. When my son became school age, I had a growing need to create something for myself. Brandy was a massive help in organizing my thoughts and goals and integrating them with more effort toward my blog and social media presence @peacelovestyleblog.
Brandy pushed me forward in partnerships, creating a proper workflow for myself, and making sure I was staying engaged in my work. I always looked forward to our communication. Through feeling like me, my brand & vision harmoniously came together with her guidance.
Not only is Brandy an incredible coach, but she has become a great friend who speaks to the mother’s experience of motherhood and raising babies!
